Brockport, NY – This upcoming weekend, the SUNY Brockport women's volleyball team will host the Brockport Invitational for the first set of home matches in 2025. The Golden Eagles will welcome Manhattanville, Morrisville State, and Hilbert for the weekend.
Weekend Schedule: The Brockport Invitational gets started on Friday night at 5pm with Manhattanville and Hilbert facing off on the main court. At 7pm, the Golden Eagles take on Morrisville State for their home opener at The Vlog.
On Saturday, day two will feature two courts with games going simultaneously. In the noon slot on the main court, Brockport will play Manhattanville. On court two, it will be Morrisville and Hilbert.
Estimated for a 2:30pm start time for the second round of games on Saturday, Brockport will remain on its main court to battle Hilbert. The second court finishes up the day with Morrisville playing Manhattanville.

Ohio Trip Recap: The Golden Eagles opened the season last weekend with a trip to Sanduksy, Ohio to compete in the Great Lakes Cross Over at the Cedar Point Sports Center. Taking on some strong non-conference competition, Brockport went 1-1 on day one before an 0-2 showing on day two in Ohio. The squad now gets a chance for home court advantage this Friday and Saturday, looking to improve on a 1-3 start to the season.
Team Leaders: Through opening weekend,
Alenna Williamson (31 K),
Anna Cascapera (29 K), and
Alexis Sison (28) lead the offensive attack.
Kaitlyn Jewett went to work in the setter position, racking up 93 assists across 16 sets. Jewett also is leading the squad with 14 service aces, while Cascapera has nine. Libero
Elsie Logan came up with 54 digs (11 sets) over the weekend to lead the defensive effort. Jewett contributed with 32 and
Gianna Felipe was credited with 30 digs. Freshman
Delaney Yusko is leading the middle blocker group with seven total blocks so far, including three solo blocks.
RIT Invitational: After a quick homestand this weekend for the Golden Eagles, they will hit the road again next weekend. Brockport will head to RIT for matchups with Alfred State (1pm) and RIT (3pm) on Saturday, September 13
th.
