Brockport, NY – On Monday, the Empire 8 announced Amelia Breton as Offensive Player of the Week following a dominant week on the turf. 

Last Wednesday, the Golden Eagles faced Geneseo for their final regular-season matchup, where they took a 2-0 shutout win to clinch the No. 1 seed in the conference. Breton had a strong game, helping lead Brockport to the win, putting up one goal and three shots, all on goal. 

On Saturday, Brockport hosted No. 8 Alfred University for the first round of the Empire 8 Tournament. The Green and Gold finished with a 3-1 victory, moving them on to the semifinal round. Breton showed out with two goals in the first period, setting Brockport up for the win. Breton also added a strong eight shots with six on goal in just 46 minutes. 

Breton currently leads the team in goals with nine, points with 21, shots with 50, and shots on goal with 32. She is also tied for second in assists with three. 

Up Next – Brockport is set to host No. 4-seededHartwick College for the Semifinal round of the E8 Tournament, which will take place on Wednesday, November 5^th at 4 pm.
