Brockport, NY- The SUNY Brockport Field Hockey team will open the 2025 season on Friday, August 29
th, hosting Allegheny College at 4 pm before facing off with Juniata on Sunday, August 31
st at 1 pm.
2024 Recap: As first-year members of the Empire 8 in 2024, the Golden Eagles rolled to a historic 13-6 campaign, going 7-2 in Empire 8 regular season play. From September 21
st to October 19
th, Brockport embarked on a program-record nine-game winning streak, including four shutout wins. The 2024 squad posted a perfect 6-0 record in road contests, with Brockport's 13 wins serving as the most since 1994 (14), and the third most in program history. Following an Empire 8 Tournament loss to Hartwick to conclude the season, the Golden Eagles earned numerous team and individual accomplishments.
Record Books: The 2024 senior class will go down as one of the most successful in the program's history, with several Golden Eagles adding their names to the record books.

Coaching Staff:
Krista Archambeau returns for her eighth season as head coach of the Golden Eagles, leading a resurgence within the program. Archambeau has led the Golden Eagles to a winning season in four of the last five seasons, posting a 33-20 record across her last three seasons.
Rachel Bannatyne returns for her second season as Assistant Coach, helping lead Brockport to one of the most successful seasons in program history in 2024. The Brockport Field Hockey program welcomes four-year standouts
Ella Buchanan and
Paige Thowe to the coaching staff following excellent playing careers with the Green and Gold.
Key Returners: Despite losing seven of the top eight-point scorers from last season, the Golden Eagles return multiple key contributors from 2024. The Golden Eagles return their top scorer,
Allison Greene, for the 2025 season. Greene led the squad with 10 goals and seven assists for 27 points in her freshman season. Standout freshman defender
Terralyn McLaughlin returns for her sophomore year, starting 17 of 18 games in 2024. Brockport will retain an experienced defense and midfield, with
Sophia Jones and
Madison Kirkpatrick returning for their junior seasons. The pair combined for 27 starts in 2024 and are set to see increased action in 2025.
Fresh Faces: The Golden Eagles welcome 15 freshmen additions to the 2025 squad, including

Between the Pipes:
Katelynn Banning returns as Brockport's most experienced goaltender following the departure of
Ella Buchanan, entering her senior season. Banning has been excellent in limited action in her career, posting a 5-1 record with 31 saves and a 1.05 GA/AVG. Sophomore
Lauren Mastromarco will be set to see her first game action as a Golden Eagle, with sophomore
Laura Chojnacki rounding out the goalkeepers for Brockport.
E8 Outlook: Brockport will host Elmira in conference opener action on Saturday, September 20
th at 4 pm, followed by a home contest against Alfred University on Wednesday, October 1
st at 7 pm. The Golden Eagles will then host Russell Sage for senior day on Saturday, October 4
th, at 4 pm before heading to Houghton on Wednesday, October 8
th, at 7:30 pm. Brockport will then head to Hartwick for a 2024 Empire 8 Semifinal rematch on Saturday, October 11
th at 11 am, followed by a road contest at Keuka College on Wednesday, October 15
th at 4 pm. The Golden Eagles close out the regular season with conference matchups with Nazareth (Home, October 18
th at 4 pm), Geneseo (Road, October 22
nd at 7 pm), Utica (Home, October 25
th at 3 pm), and St. John Fisher (Road, October 29
th at 7 pm).
Scouting Allegheny: The Gators are coming off a 5-12 2024 season, posting a 5-5 record in NCAC play. Allegheny and Brockport faced off for the first time in 2024, with Brockport earning a 4-0 victory in Meadville.
Scouting Juniata: The Eagles posted a 5-12 record in 2024, with Brockport opening the 2024 season with a 2-1 double overtime win against Juniata.
