Brockport Hall of Fame
Amanda Pickard was the first field hockey student-athlete in program-history to earn National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-American honors in 2008. She was also named the Brockport Female Athlete of the Year as a senior and she was named team captain for the NFHCA Senior All-Star game. She is one of just six players in the history of SUNYAC Conference field hockey to earn four consecutive All-Conference First Team selections.Â
She was a two-time SUNYAC Player of the Year in 2007 and 2008. She was also recognized by the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) as a First-Team All-Star in 2008.
During her time in the green and gold she broke nearly every school record for offense and ended her career as the all-time leader in points (78) and assists (24). She graduated as the school record holder for goals in a season (16), assists in a season (8) and points in a season (39).
Pickard came to Brockport by way of Depew, NY and Lancaster High School.Â
