Came to Brockport in the fall of 1928, where he served as instructor for men's physical education, coach, and industrial arts teacher. There were no real organized sports at Brockport until he came. Coached many sports during his tenure and was considered to be the "father of baseball" at the then Brockport State Teachers College. Many of his "graduates" later became outstanding leaders in the field of physical education and athletics in the State of New York. Former pitcher, International League.
