Four year varsity field hockey player for SUNY Brockport, state champions in 1972; also competed on swim team for two years and softball team for one year.
Tremendous athlete who is a three-time All-American in Triathlon Today (1989, 1990, 1991); USTS Bud Light Triathlon Master's Champion (1991-1992); 1992 Donner Lake Triathlon Master's Champion; finished third at Triathlon World Championships in 1991; Professional Ski instructors of America, Intermountain Division; examiner and Alpine team instructor since 1980.
Has had articles published in Skiing and Powder magazines; succeeded in implementing a school ski fitness and lesson program in Utah; maintained a 3.8 graduate school grade point average; spent 11 years with United States Forest Service and helped implement a wilderness education program; 1989 American College of Sports Medicine Certification.
