Member of varsity soccer team at SUNY Brockport for two years; member of '74 National Championship team; earned All-State and All-Conference honors both years; achieved All-American status in final year; transferred from Monroe Comm. College after earning All-Conference, All-Region, and All-American laurels.
Returned to coach MCC in 1990 after six seasons as head coach at Fredonia; led Fredonia to a 64-29-9 record and two trips to Division III semifinals; won two consecutive New York State Regional Championships (1985-86); named SUNYAC and NYS Regional Coach of the Year ('86); earned Region III Coach of the Year honors at MCC last season.
Played better part of seven seasons in professional soccer, beginning in 1975; first-round draft choice of Rochester Lancers of the North American Soccer League; also a member of the American Soccer League's Rochester Flash for two seasons; presently a member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA); United States Soccer Federation (USSF) certified state referee.
