Two-year starting goalkeeper for the men's soccer team at the College; named an All-American in 1972; first-team All-SUNYAC and All-State in both 1972 and 1973; led team to a 19-5 record in two seasons, including a 10-1 mark and number four national ranking as a senior; team captain in 1973; played two years at Cobleskill before transferring to Brockport; also was an All-American there and inducted into Cobleskill's Hall of Fame. Selected in the first round of the 1974 North American Soccer League (NASL) draft by the Rochester Lancers; played 12 seasons of professional soccer with the Lancers (including all-star appearances in 1975 and 1976) and three Major Indoor Soccer league (MISL) teams: Cleveland Force (1979), Buffalo Stallions (1980-84), and Baltimore Blast (1984-85); was the player-coach in Buffalo in 1983-84; also was an MISL all-star in 1980-81 while with the Stallions. Currently is the President and owner of Sportsplex, Inc., the largest and longest running indoor sports complex in western New York; served previously as head coach, vice president and general manager of the Buffalo Blizzard of the National professional Soccer League (NPSL) in the 1990s; involved heavily in youth sports in the region.
