Played two honor-filled seasons of men's basketball at Brockport as "Mr. Magic"; led SUNYAC in scoring and ninth in nation as a senior (25.9 ppg) in 1961-62; All-SUNYAC both years; still holds a share of the single-game assist record (15) with one other player; 20th on all-time scoring chart (838 points); fourth in career scoring average (22.1) and fifth in season scoring average (25.9); team was 29-9 in his two years; taken in the fifth round of the NBA draft by the Detroit Pistons.
Has spent the last 10 years running his own business; also worked in a variety of positions for several corporations and taught in the Liverpool School District for four years; has coached several sports from Little League to high school; very active in his community; committees include Zoning Board of Appeals and the executive board of the Community Council.
Assistant coach at Brockport in 1963-64; was in the U.S. Army for three years before enrolling at Brockport and played basketball for the U.S. overseas; All-Army (Europe) in 1958-59; MVP of European 7th Army Championship; played semi-pro until 1970.
