Only field hockey All-American in Brockport history; as a defender, led the 1981 team to a fourth-place national finish (Division III) at the Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) National Tournament; senior-year squad was one of only two teams in school history to finish that high at a national tournament; two-year starter and a tri-captain as a senior; the field hockey team won the state and regional tournaments each of her two years and finished in the top seven in the nation (seventh in 1980, fourth in 1981) in Division III both years.
Certified Landscape Professional in Arizona; also certified in Structural Pest Control; has worked as the Landscape Superintendent at Rancho Manana Golf Club Resort since 1998; was the senior gardener at The Phoenix Zoo from 1986 to 1996; spent a year working in Michigan before heading back to Arizona to begin her current position.
Numerous post-college awards in softball, including a national runner-up tournament finish, eight all-tournament selections, two MVP awards, and a "Golden Glove" award; helped lead her team to six Arizona state championships.
