Two-year standout high jumper for the indoor and outdoor track & field teams at Brockport; two-time All-American, tying for sixth at the 1985-86 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships and finishing tied for fifth at the 1986 Outdoor Championships; earned a spot in the 1986 outdoor NCAA championships by finishing sixth at the 1986 Penn Relays; placed in the top six in three events at the 1984-85 New York State Indoor Championships, winning the high jump while placing fifth in the 55-meter hurdles and sixth in the long jump; set the SUNYAC Indoor Track & Field Championship record by placing first at the 1986 Outdoor Championship meet; also placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the same meet; set the Brockport outdoor high jump record in 1986 and remains the record holder 28 years later.
Mother of three boys, all accomplished distance runners.
Has been a probation officer since 1987 for Washington County and Warren County in New York and has been the probation liaison for Glens Falls Domestic Violence Court.
