Major: History

Four-year swimmer; four-time College Division All-American; 1968-71 varsity swimmer; team captain in 1971; 1969 SUNYAC champion in 50 free and 100 fly and second in 200 fly; 1970 SUNYAC champion in 100 and 200 fly and second in 50 free; 1971 SUNYAC champion in 100 and 200 fly and second in 50 free and 400 free relay; held school records in 200 IM, 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, 200 fly, and 400 free relay; SUNYAC record holder in 50 free and 100 fly.

Member of the 1967-68 freshmen swimming team; three-event SUNYAC freshmen champion (50 free, 100 free, and 200 fly); left Brockport after completing swimming career in 1971, but returned to the College to complete his history degree in 1989.

Received awards for carved walking sticks from the Canadian National Exhibition and the Finger Lakes Exhibition; presented Prince Philip with the Walking Stick "Gone But Knot Forgotten" on Yacht "Brittania" in 1984 during Queen Elizabeth's visit to Toronto; appeared in "West Side Story" as Officer Krupke with his two daughters at Greece Athena High School in 1995.
