Two-time All-American and the 1975 NCAA Division IIII National Champion at 142 pounds for the wrestling team; won the ninth and tenth All-American awards in Brockport wrestling history and was just the second two-time All-American for the program; became the fourth wrestler under head coach Don Murray to win an individual National Championship; led the team to consecutive conference championships and a fourth-place finish at the 1975 National Championship Tournament; finished runner-up at the 1974 National Tournament and was crowned the 142-pound national champ in 1975; two-time SUNYAC Champion, winning the 142-pound title in 1974 and the 150-pound title in 1975; two-time finalist at the Colgate Open, winning the championship and earning Most Valuable Wrestler in 1975; two-year record at Brockport was 60-5-1.
Continues to play and coach for his senior league softball team in Florida.
Retired after a 24-year career with UPS; father of four and grandfather of two.
