Consensus All-American (AFCA, d3football.com, Football Gazette, Hewlett-Packard) defensive lineman as a senior (2002) at conclusion of three-year (2000-02) career with the Brockport football team; was first Brockport player named first-team Little All-American (Divisions II and III) since 1959; set season (16.5) and career (24) records for sacks that are still held today; also named All-ECAC and played in the Division III Aztec Bowl after senior year; named Male Athlete of the Year for all of Athletics and the team MVP; team reached NCAAs in all three seasons (and first three seasons in school history).

Played professionally after Brockport, suiting up for the indoor Rochester Brigade (2003) of the AFL2 league where he was named 2nd-team All-Rookie; player for the Rochester Raiders in 2006-07 and was named 1st-team All-Pro while setting season records for sacks and blocked kicks; was the 2007 Championship Game MVP.

Served as defensive line coach at the College after his playing days; also coached at Geneseo High School for two years and the Rochester Junior Gridiron Academy for four seasons.
