Member of the volleyball and softball teams (1988-92); recipient of the 1995 School of Arts and Performance Outstanding Student Award; first and only woman in the history of SUNY Brockport to be selected as a GTE-CoSIDA Academic All-American in two sports; first woman in the history of SUNY Brockport to be selected as the WVOR Rochester Press/Radio Club Sportswoman of the Year (1991); three-time All-Northeast Region selection in both sports; six-time member of the GTE-CoSIDA Academic All-District team; participated in the NCAA tournament four times.
Currently pursuing a doctorate in kinesiology and health promotion with a concentration in exercise physiology and sports nutrition; teacher assistant at the University of Kentucky; was the wellness residence hall director (1996-97) at Kentucky; wellness graduate assistant (1995-96) at Kentucky; personal trainer (1995-present).
Only person in the history of Brockport to receive $5,000 NCAA post-graduate scholarship; named to the Dean's list every semester; gold medalist on the 1994 open women's volleyball team at the Empire State Games.
