A four-year soccer player, three-year swimmer and baseball player, and two-year member of the track and field team; soccer team was 22-5-1 in four-year career and outscored opponents 103-25; three-time All-American selection in soccer and was the first 1st-team All-American at Brockport; also a three-time All-State first-team choice; as a track participant, was All-NYS in three years of competition in the 100-yard dash and the long jump.
Following a brilliant collegiate career, continued to play soccer in the semi-professional league in Rochester, NY that involved teams from Western New York, Pennsylvania, and Canada; also played on the U.S. select all- star team in Triborough Stadium in New York City against the Scottish International Team in 1943.
Resides in a Conesus Lakefront home for six months of the year and a condominium in Little River, SC for the other half of the year; enjoys swimming, fishing, and playing golf year round.
