Earned varsity letters in soccer (4 years), baseball (4 years). Baseball co-captain (1950). Twice selected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities.
Coached soccer, basketball, baseball, football and track on secondary level. Varsity basketball teams won four championships in a 10-year period. Doctoral thesis requested by both Basketball Hall of Fame, Springfield, Mass., and National Headquarters of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials. Past president, Suffolk Zone in Health, Physical Education and Recreation. Recipient of New York State Coaches Award, New York State Coaches Special Honor Award and the Physical Education Zone Achievement Award.
