Four-year standout starting shortstop on the women's softball team; named to the All-SUNYAC team all four years (1994-97); also named to the NYSWCAA All-Tournament team twice 1995 and 1997) and to the NCAA Regional All-Tournament team (1997); All-Region once (1997); set seven school records while at Brockport, including career games (127, all as a starter), at-bats (451), runs (107), hits (167), and total bases (243); led team to a record of 85-44 over four years, including two SUNYAC titles (1994 and 1997), the 1996 NYSWCAA crown, and a third-place finish at the 1997 NCAA Regionals (best-ever for softball team at Brockport); 1997 team set school record for wins (25). Three-year volunteer for the Empire State Games for the Physically Challenged while a student at Brockport. Currently teaching in the Rochester City School District; previously taught in Newnan, GA at Jefferson Parkway Elementary and taught and coached at East Coweta Middle School in Senoia, GA; also has taught and coached at the Nathaniel Rochester Community School and in the Lyndonville and Brockport Central School Districts; has coached basketball, soccer, softball, and swimming at the varsity, JV, and modified levels.
