Served SUNY Brockport as athletic director (1990-95), head football coach (1986-94), assistant professor, coordinator of the sport management program (1984-90), and track and field coach (1984-85); led football team to first playoff appearance (1993) and holds record for football coaching wins (39); coached 22 football All-Americans; named 1985 SUNYAC Coach of the Year in track and field and coached two All-Americans.
Was responsible for the growth of the College's athletic program in the mid-1990s; was athletic director when Brockport won its last national championship (1992 in wrestling); oversaw improvements and upgrades to the athletic facilities and the addition of women's lacrosse as a varsity sport.
Has been the athletic director at his Alma Mater since leaving Brockport in the summer of 1995; currently serves on WCU's President's Council; president-elect of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and current President of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC).
