Three-year letterwinner in wrestling at SUNY Brockport; two time Conference wrestling champion at 167 lbs.; SUNY Brockport's first All-American wrestler (1968); went undefeated three of his four years; team captain, 1966-68; also was a two way starter in football.
Post-collegiate accomplishments include Eastern Region Olympic Trials Championships (19 7 2); Don Murray's assistant coach for U.S. junior World team in Bulgaria; wrestling coach at Jamestown Community College for 13 years; coached 23 All-Americans and two National Champions; Western New York College Coach of the Year (1974) and Region III Coach of the Year (1975); National junior College Hall-of-Fame for coaching (1989).
President of Western New York Wrestling Officials Association (1986-88); Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Trainer for 10 years; President of Mt. Hood Community College Management Association; recipient of Mt. Hood's leadership award (1990-91); director of Mt. Hood's Staff Wellness program, which was honored by the State of Oregon in 1991.
