Two-year scoring ace for the Brockport soccer team; led team to an impressive 21-2-1 record in those two seasons; Golden Eagles won SUNYAC titles both years (1968 and 1969) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament in 1968; named All-State and All-SUNYAC both seasons; when he left Brockport, held the records for goals in a game (4) and season (18) and was third in career goals (32) in just two years; still ranks fifth all-time in career points (76) and holds the school mark for consecutive games with a goal (12); in the NCAA playoff tie with Army (the Cadets advanced in corner kicks), scored all three of Brockport’s goals.

Before Brockport, played at Orange County Community College and was a second-team All-American.

After Brockport, earned a master’s from East Stroudsburg and did additional graduate work at Penn State; retired from teaching, coaching and administration in the Hamburg Area High School in Hamburg, PA; served three years in the U.S. Army and received the Army Commendation Medal.
