Earned varsity letters in field hockey (3 years), softball (3 years), swimming and diving (3 years). Won 1970 National Intercollegiate Championship: 500 meter and 5,000 meter kayak (K-1) during senior year.
Coached basketball and swimming and diving on college and university level. Active participant: Masters swimming competition (1972 - present) placing in top ten nationally for age group every year.
