Four-year member of the varsity field hockey and women's lacrosse teams; captained both her senior year; also was a member of the Finger Lakes Field Hockey Association and was a national tournament player in field hockey and women's lacrosse in '76 and '77; Ernest Tuttle Student-Athlete Award.
As an employee of the Harborfields Central School District, has served as President of the Suffolk County Directors of Health, Physical Education and Athletics, Sports Coordinator for Section X1 field hockey and girls lacrosse, and Advisory Board Member for the Adelphi University Support Physical Education.
In 1991, was given the Zone Honor Award by the New York State Council of Administrators; also was recognized as Teacher of the Year by the Palm Beach County Public Schools in 1979; won the NFICA Outstanding Coach Award for women's lacrosse in 1991; Long Island Marathon winner in 1984.
