Four-year track star; held all Brockport track records from 50 yards to 440 yards during his collegiate career; still holds school record in the 200 meters (:21.80); also was a member of all the record holding relay teams; NYS Champion in the 440 in '67; also was team captain and team M.V.P. in '67.
Continued his success at the international level by placing sixth and fourth, respectively, in the 100- and 200-meter dashes at the 1968 Maccabiah Games in Israel; also a member of the record-breaking 400-meter relay team; appointed head track coach at Stony Brook in 1968; team went undefeated for the first time in the school's history; went on to coach at St. Andrew's High School in New York, and later coached post-college athletes on an individual basis.
Has continued his participation in the track world by serving on the Board of Directors for the Florida Track Club; named Chairman of the Board in 1991; currently production coordinator of the Running and Racing Weekly Sports Magazine Show on ESPN.
