Four-year wrestler (1983-87) at Brockport; team never finished lower than 13th at the NCAA Division III National Championships during his four years; took 13th in his freshman year, fifth his sophomore year, and second in both his junior and senior seasons; individually was a three-time All-American and won the 1986 national title at 167 pounds; also wrestled at 158 pounds; won the New York State title (which includes all Division I schools in the state) in 1986; three-time SUNYAC champion (1984, 1986, 1987); team won SUNYAC titles his first three years and finished second his senior year; was undefeated in dual meets in four seasons; team had a dual-meet record of 31-7 in his four campaigns. One of 15 Brockport wrestlers to earn three or more All-American citations; captained the team as a senior; Brockport had an incredible streak of 64 consecutive SUNYAC dual-meet wins that continued into his sophomore year; finished second in the state as a high school senior; brother, Timm, also wrestled for the Golden Eagles. Currently is the sales manager for Delacy Ford in Elma.
