Brockport Hall of Fame
Rachel Malone McGarvey ‘15 was a three-time NCAA Cross Country All-American for the Golden Eagles in 2012 (34th place at nationals), 2013 (20th place) and 2014 (18th place). She was a three-time cross country all-region selection in 2012 (4th place at regionals), 2013 (5th place), 2014 (5th place). She was also a three-time SUNYAC Cross Country All-Conference First Team selection. She placed second on two occasions at the SUNYAC Championships and finished fourth once. She was also named the Brockport Female Athlete of the Year.
She was a standout in the classroom earning COSIDA Academic All-District, SUNYAC All-Academic and USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
She was also a standout for the Brockport track & field program. She was a two-time NCAA outdoor track & field national qualifier in the 10k race. She finished eighth at nationals in 2014 and 17th in 2013, earning All-American honors in 2014. She was the 2013 and 2014 SUNYAC outdoor champion in the 10k. She was a three-time outdoor champion in the 10k (2012, 2013, 2014) and she was the 5k champ at the 2013 and 2014 Indoor SUNYAC Championships.
Rachel came to Brockport by way of Fairport, NY and Fairport High School.
