One of the few four-sport athletes at Brockport; standout four-year letterwinner in lacrosse (1995-98) and also was a member of the tennis (1995), field hockey (1996 and 1997), and golf (1998) teams; named GTE/CoSIDA At-Large Academic All-American of the Year in 1998 (first student-athlete from Brockport or any SUNYAC school to ever receive honor); also honored as the Dr. Dolores Bogard SUNYAC Women's Scholar-Athlete of the Year (1998); numerous Brockport and SUNYAC academic honors and awards; in lacrosse, was a two-year captain; All-SUNYAC and All-State as a senior; led nation in assists per game (3.14 in 1998); set school records for points in a season (66) and career (170) and assists in a game (5), season (44), and career (95); 7th in career goals (75); the 1998 team set records for consecutive wins (8) and wins in a season (10).
Graduated from Brockport with a 3.97 overall grade point average; had just one semester without a perfect 4.0 GPA; numerous charitable efforts, including a two-week stint in Guatemala helping lay cement floors in huts and feeding the underprivileged in 1997; had a 4.0 in her master's program at Temple.
Currently is a research technician in exercise physiology at UB and an exercise physiologist at Kaleida Health System in Buffalo.
