Four-year football letterwinner at SUNY Brockport; served as team captain as a senior in 1950; also competed in gymnastics for two years; participated in athletics with several current Hall of Famers while an undergraduate at Brockport.
Tremendous athlete who finished the prestigious Ironman Triathlon (Hawaii) in 1984 and 1989; competed in the Senior Olympics in swimming and cycling in St. Louis in 1989 and Syracuse in 1991; also a Divermaster with the Los Angeles SCUBA instructors from 1980 to 1985.
Serves as a professor and activities coordinator in the Health and Physical Education Department at Cal Poly-Pomona; honored with a 30-year Service Award.
